Questions to ask your veterinarian
A non-prescriptive checklist for conversations with a licensed veterinarian. Education only — not a protocol.
Educational only. Not veterinary or medical advice. Not for human use. Consult a licensed veterinarian about any animal-care decision.
Bring context, not a shopping list
A productive veterinary conversation starts with history: age, breed, current medications or supplements, recent labs if available, and what you have already tried under professional guidance. Screenshots of product marketing are less useful than a clean summary of the animal’s situation.
This checklist is educational. It is not a recommendation to use any product, and it is not a substitute for clinical judgment.
Questions that keep the conversation grounded
What do you want me to monitor at home, and what would make you want a recheck? Are there interactions or conditions where research materials would be inappropriate to discuss? What documentation would you want to see on a product label or analysis report before weighing in? Who should I call after hours if something changes?
If a seller’s content tries to replace your veterinarian, walk away. If a brand’s content helps you ask better questions, that is the right direction.
What we will not do on this site
We will not publish weight-based amount charts, injection curricula, or day-by-day “protocols” next to a cart. Those patterns are common online and create risk for pet owners and brands alike.
Big Dog Peptides stays on labels, quality, and education. Your veterinarian stays on care decisions.
